Łódź Love 2026!

If you know us well, you'll know we're both huge fans of music festivals, so what better way to celebrate our wedding in Poland than with our very own festival-themed party?

This will be a relaxed, informal celebration and, we'll be making the most of the outdoors. Expect delicious food, plenty of drinks, great music, and, of course, lots of dancing. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Venue

As the name suggests, we'll be holding  celebration in Iwona's home town of Łódź in central Poland. Iwona's twin sister Iza, has kindly agreed to host our party in the garden of her home (located a 15-20 minute taxi ride away from the city centre).

The party will be held outdoors in a marquee with seating, tables and heaters. There will be a portaloo type toilet with washbasin (please rest assured this will be much cleaner and nicer than your average festival loo!).

Dress code

We'd love you to embrace the festival spirit. Think relaxed, colourful and fun rather than formal. Flowy dresses, bold prints, floral shirts, jumpsuits, waistcoats, boots, trainers, hats, sunglasses and a touch of sparkle (and even wellies) are all very welcome. If it gets cooler in the evening, you may wish to bring an extra layer of clothing.

Food

In true festival spirit, we will have our very own food truck! The 'Gastrofather' will be here, serving ice creams in the afternoon, and then later, burgers and fries and Zapiekanka (traditional Polish toasted sandwiches).

Drinks

There will be a complimentary self-service bar with beer, wine, soft drinks and (of course) some fantastic Polish vodka!

Music

We'll be playing a playlist curated from our (and your) favourite tracks. When you RSVP to our invite, please enter the name of your favourite song and artist and we'll add it to the list!

Arrive/Leave anytime

We'd love this to be a fun, relaxed and informal celebration for everyone. There's absolutely no expectations on our part - please come and go whenever it suits you. Whether you can stay for an hour or the whole afternoon and evening, we'll just be delighted to celebrate with you!

For info, the food truck will be serving 3.30 - 7.30 pm.

What to bring

All food and drink will be provided (so please do not bring any with you)... your presence is all we need!

Gifts

We would prefer you not to bring any gifts. Please see our 'Gifts' page for more info.

Photos

Please take lots of photos of the party, and remember to upload them to this website!

Wifi/Mobile

There is a good 5G mobile/data signal at the venue. Please ask if you need access to wifi.

Dogs

Iwona's sister Iza runs a dog training business from her home, however, for our wedding celebrations, 'Jarvis' and 'Joke' will be partying with their doggie friends elsewhere.
